The historic pub, The Kingston, a 168-year-old venue, recently underwent a $1.5 million renovation. This extensive makeover transformed the establishment into a modern gastro pub. The revival included a complete refresh of the public bar, the addition of a new restaurant named Marble & Pearl, and the creation of an expansive courtyard with a provincial Tuscan ambience.
The Public Bar exudes a laid-back charm, making it a favourite among locals. The dark hues of our Imagine Fabulous carpet are offset by the pale green walls, timber finishes and rose gold accents, creating a sophisticated atmosphere. Whether you’re meeting friends for a pre-footy meal or enjoying a Sunday afternoon beer, this space is perfect for relaxing and catching up with friends, family, or colleagues.
Nestled in the heart of The Kingston, Marble & Pearl offers a sophisticated and refined dining experience. The 95-seat dining room is defined by open fireplaces, scalloped terracotta booths, and duck-egg blue walls. Our Imagine Luscious carpet adds the perfect touch of light, depth, and sophistication to the space.
The centrepiece of the room is the dry-ageing cabinet, which showcases various cuts of steak. Clad in black v-groove timber and surrounded by the golden hues of our Luscious carpet, the cabinet’s dark tones contrast beautifully with the rich red of the aged meats, creating a striking visual highlight.
